Are you a young woman aged 16-25 with some time to spare each week? We are seeking dedicated volunteers to befriend and peer-mentor for our Girl Glow Project, which provides support and empowerment for young women aged 16-25.

New Befriending Program:
We are happy to announce our new Befriending and Peer-Mentoring Program, seeking befrienders and peer-mentors!
Befrienders:
As a Befriender, you will provide companionship and emotional support to young women in our community. Your role will include:
Creating Connections: Building meaningful relationships and establishing trust through regular communication.
Offering Support: Providing a listening ear and guidance during challenging times, helping them navigate personal and social issues.
Promoting Well-being: Engaging in activities that promote mental and emotional well-being, such as shared hobbies or social outings.
Peer-Mentors:
As a Peer Mentor, you'll serve as a role model and guide to young women, helping them develop important life skills. Your responsibilities include:
Empowering Youth: Encouraging young women to set goals and pursue their aspirations, fostering self-confidence and resilience.
Skill Development: Leading workshops or discussions on topics like career planning, self-care, and healthy relationships.
Creating Safe Spaces: Facilitating group discussions where young women can express themselves freely and support one another.
